Mean reversion
The assumption that an asset's price tends to move back toward its average price over time.
In Mastaizflo2.0: This is the idea the bot trades on. It is an assumption, not a guarantee — prices can keep moving away from the average.

A series of averages taken over a sliding window of data points.
In Mastaizflo2.0: The bot uses a simple average of the last 20 hourly closing prices.

A measure of how spread out values are around their average. Low means values stay close to the average; high means they are spread out.
In Mastaizflo2.0: The bot measures how much price has moved around over the last 20 hours.

How many standard deviations a value is above or below the average.
In Mastaizflo2.0: The bot looks to buy at -2 or lower and to sell short at +2 or higher. The Live markets page shows this as "Distance".

A chart method created by John Bollinger in the 1980s that draws bands around a moving average to show price and volatility together.
In Mastaizflo2.0: The bot's zones are the same kind of band: a 20-hour average with lines 2 standard deviations above and below.
